What can be treated?
Please click here for a list of treatable conditions approved by the WHO (World Health Organization).
It is likely that even if your condition is not on the list, Chinese medicine can still help!
What is involved in a typical treatment session?
The practitioner will start off with a consultation in order to understand your condition fully. Taking a full patient history, examining your tongue, taking the pulse and measuring the blood pressure may all be part of this procedure.
According to your consultation you will be given the relevant treatment. This could be Chinese herbal medicine and/or acupuncture or patent Chinese herbs. The practitioner will also give some dietary and lifestyle advice.
How long does a treatment session last?
A first time consultation is about 20 minutes long but will be shorter thereafter.
An acupuncture session lasts around 30-60 minutes.
Prices
First time consultation: £20 (free thereafter)
Acupuncture (per session): £45
Tailor made Chinese herbal prescription (a week’s supply): £45
Patented Chinese medicine: £10 – £20
When can I begin to see results?
Individual cases differ but many patients see a positive difference within 1 or 2 weeks.
Since the natural way of treatment works through changing the body itself a complete cure will take time especially since many patients are suffering from chronic illnesses.
Patients generally see the practitioner once a week; a tailor made treatment plan is then devised for you.
